- Notes: The HANG CD release party ~ This was such a fabulous musical production to be a part of in 2022: Libretto by Taylor Mac, music by Matt Ray with an absolutely killing band! Hope you can join us! Taylor Mac and Matt Ray, and the company The Hang, are having an album release party/show. Selections from their jazz opera, about the final hours of the life of Socrates, will be performed by the original company. The Hang, premiered in 2022, at the Here Arts Center, and was nominated for Best Musical of the year by both the Drama Desk and Drama League Awards.
