Hello Fall!
I can’t believe it’s October! Just got back from a beautiful (and sunny) weekend in Paris performing with Danijel Zezelj and Brandon Seabrook at the STRIPOVI comics festival where Danijel and other artists from Croatia had their comics and graphic novels work featured. We also got to see some things of Paris, dodging traffic and tourists at Notre Dame and the Louvre on rickety rented bikes with our friend Marie, visiting museums, including some amazing sound sculptures by Jean Tinguely at Centre Pompidou, as well as drink good wine and eat ridiculous amounts of bread! Splendide!
Many exciting shows this month around NYC, including JLE at NuBlu on the Lower East Side, Circus Amok at BAM’s new Fischer Theater, the Monk Marathon at Spectrum, and a big band residency at the Stone.
